One local environment issue is that people are not recycling things that they should, i can help this by making sure that i recycle everything i can and encourage others to do the same. Another environmental issue is pollution, air pollution and water pollution alike. I can help solve this by not littering and not doing things that can harm the environment.

One enviornmental problem i've noticed is garbage in the beach water by the Whitestone Bridge. I've seen bottles, tires and plastic bags on the shore. I can help solve this problem by cleaning up the beach.
Another local problem is littering. I see people littering. I always see garbage on the floor, and sometimes I pick it up and throw it out.
At home, I recycle and that is an enviormental issue because when people throw their garbage on the floor or on streets that usually ends up in the ocean and it ends up being water pollution. Another enviormental issue would be air pollution that usually comes from smoke, and people shouldnt smoke. That helps the enviorment from polluting and it can also help with peoples health.

The two environmental I chose for this assignment is air pollution and water pollution. As we all know these are really big issues that effect us. Air pollution effects us because it is the air we breath in. We need to keep our air fresher, and a way we can do that is by using hybrid cars, eliminate smoking habbits, also we can try to make laws to limit the amount of industrialazation. Water pollution is also a very big deal. We dont realize that there is life under water, and we can't just dump our oils, and other liquids in our water. We can do things to help like not throwing things in water , Also not putting liquids in the water that can hurt sea creatures, and fishes.
Two Living environment issue are Land use and Habitat destruction. You can solve Land use by making a special place for animals so they wont die. You could also solve habitat Destruction by having the people stop destroying the land were the know the animals live .

Animal habitats will be limited due to the lack of trees and sourrunding resources needed in order for survival. Forests support biodiversity, providing habitat for wildlife moreover, forests foster medical conservation. Inorder to keep deforestation from occuring then we must replace the plants that are cut down with new ones to keep the animal habitat alive and not have it destroyed.

There are different types of pollution. THese include air and water pollution and multiple other kinds. In order to help the environment we can recycle our papers and plastic so it does not go to a waste land.
1. Water Pollution - I can prevent this problem from continuing by using minimum amount of shampoo or body shampoo and any other chemical products that are easily disposed in the water.
2. Air Pollution - I can solve this problem by using more of public transportation instead of our own transportation system.

It can also damage habitats, and harm organisms. Some ways I can help solve the problem is to try and reduce the use of cars. Instead, i can use my bicycle and walk. Another environmental issue going on today is deforstation. There are many trees being cut down, causing many problems. It affects many species and can cause them to become extinct. Trees take in carbon dioxide, which we give out. Too much carbon dioxide is bad for our envrionment. What people dont realize is that once trees are cut down, all of the carbon dioxide and wastes they took in, is now realeased into the air. Some ways i can help the issue is by recycling paper, and try and limit my use of energy.

Many forests and natural habitats are destroyed to make more room for factories. As well factories use a lot of water and drain out most water supplies from areas. A solution for this are the 3 R's, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Also along with conservation of the resources and renewable resources are much better for the enviornment.
2. Water pollution is a huge environmental issue. It doesn't only have to do with your garbage, sewage, and toxic wastes ending up in the ocean where most humans swim, it also has to do with all the animals, organisms, and species that call the ocean home. The ocean is a ecosystem and by introducing deadly wastes is killing them. A solution for this is to not litter your trash; throw it away in the garbage can because what winds up in the storm drains finds it way to our oceans.
One local environmental issue is that we use our cars all the time thus creating air pollution. Air pollution causes harm to living organisms and releases toxins into the environment. We can all help solve this issue by carpooling and using buses and trains more often. Another local environmental issue is the Hudson River. It is the thirty-third most polluted river in the United States. The polluting kills the living organisms in the river, and then they can become extinct. We can stop throwing our garbage into the rivers and we can cut our plastic bottle rings before we put them in the recycle bin.

-global warming is the process of the earth getting hotter. to help stop global warming i can reserve energy, recycle, and re use material. -pollution causes many issues in environments. I can help solve the issue by picking up garbage i see and by donating time to help clean up streets.
